Client While at VAA Project Google Seed House Context In Vilnius Academy of Arts we were tasked with creating a furniture piece for a homeware brand. I chose Google. Problem As technology intrudes more and more into our lives, we seek realness, tangibility, friction. The digital world seems to disappear, and we return to simpler times, to nature. The interior merges with the environment and life resembles long-term camping. Solution Seed House is a speculative design project that explores how Google will look like in 24 years (i.e. 2046). Based on the company's design principles and its future perspective, a collection of 5 pieces of furniture and 5 interiors were created for different living scenarios. One of those pieces of furniture, the Seed Chair, was made into a prototype.
